Agile Product Owner to SEB in Stockholm

We are now looking for an Agile Product Owner who can lead and one of our agile teams according to SAFE.

About the job
The Regulatory & BI Tribe which is a newly established agile release train within the Equites and FICC domain. As product owner you will be part of this tribe and work in a global environment in our division Large Corporates & Financial institutions. You will own your team’s development backlog, collaborate with business owners and secure that the right prioritisations are made, and that development is done in line with the set business strategy. You will be responsible for defining business requirements in story format and ensure that they meet the desirable outcome. You will report your team’s deliveries and timelines and for ensure that the solutions meet customer needs, have good data quality and reduce operational risks. You will strive towards constant compliance improvements and challenge existing solutions.

Together with our Chief Product Owner, other product owners, scrum masters and delivery teams you will be an important part of creating the foundation and high-quality solutions to support the needs of users and different business areas. You will drive change, promote a culture of high performance and constant improvements our regulatory compliance.

Who are you?
To succeed in this role with us you need several years of experience in the financial industry and a deep understanding of the financial market, preferably combined with experience of regulatory reporting in this area. You possess an entrepreneurial spirit, digital curiosity, analytical and strategic mindset and can transform theory into concrete business requirements and action plans. Equally important is your ability to understand and drive our transformation agenda seeing things from a holistic view.

You are a good communicator, listener and take different perspectives into consideration. Networking and building strong long-term relationships is natural for you. You are structured and like to find efficient solutions in a complex setting. You are used to understanding data and turning ideas into clear business requirements. You are not afraid of questioning existing solutions, you rather see change as an opportunity to improve. We highly value your personality including a proactive and open mindset, always acting as a team player. We believe that you enjoy challenges, have strong leadership skills, are solution oriented and see collaboration as a prerequisite for your success. Experience of SAFe methodology is meriting. 

You have an academic degree in Finance, Business or equivalent. Fluency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written with excellent communication abilities is a must. Experience from regulations impacting the financial Industry such as EMIR, Dodd Frank, SFTR or MiFIDII is a merit.
