Credit Analyst to SEB in Stockholm

Are you a strong analyst who wants to actively interact with credit market participants? Great! We are now looking for a credit analyst to join our Credit Research team in Stockholm.

About the job
SEB Research is one of the leading research departments in the Nordic region, comprising Credit, Equity and FICC research units. The Credit Research team consists of a group of 10 analysts in Stockholm, Oslo and Helsinki and you will be based in our office at Kungsträdgårdsgatan in Stockholm.
Your responsibilities in this role include assessing credit quality of potential bond issuers and writing research reports in connection to primary bond issues. Maintaining ongoing coverage of bond issuers and sectors, including creating trade ideas and sector reports is also an important part of your job.
You will actively and independently engage with investors and issuers both during primary transactions and in the secondary market. You will work closely with our colleagues in Debt Capital Markets, Credit Sales/Trading and other parts of LC&FI.

Who are you?
We believe that you have 1-3 years of relevant experience, for example from a sell-side credit analyst position in a financial institution, or from an analytical position in a rating agency. You have a university degree, preferably in finance and accounting or engineering.
You have an analytical personality and strong communications skills. Proficiency in Swedish and English is a requirement. We also believe that you are interested in financial markets, and sufficiently flexible to be able to handle several projects simultaneously and, at times, intense workloads. You are a team player but also enjoy working independently. You possess a high level of personal integrity and a good sense of judgement. Previous experience of analysing Nordic utilities or high yield corporates is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
