About the job
Quantitative Strategies and Analytics (QSA) is the quant group working with trading activities across assets, within SEB’s Markets department. QSA is responsible for the pricing & risk models, as well as the trading algorithms used for trade execution, market making and risk management. We also conduct research projects in the area of data science applied to Trading.
In this position, you will take a central role in the building of the future fixed income platform for Trading. The job involves the specification of requirements for pricing and risk, the implementation and testing of interest rate curves, derivatives and bonds. In doing that, you will have the opportunity to work closely with traders. You will take an active role in the design of the future set-up for fixed income using the chosen system (Prime Front Arena), in a context of electrification of the fixed income markets.
Who are you?
You are a team player who enjoys working in a fast pace environment. You are analytical with very good communication skills and speak fluently English. You hold an M. Sc. or PhD in quantitative topic engineering, physics, statistics etc. You have a solid background in quantitative analysis with 2 to 5 years of experience within the financial industry. You have worked with derivatives and fixed income products covering aspects such as valuation of linear and non-linear cash flow products, risk calculations, profit and loss calculations, market parameters, i.e. interest/bond/credit yield curves and volatility surfaces. You have a good knowledge of programming in C++, Python or similar, knowledge of SQL is a plus. You have experience of configuration and programming Front Arena.
