About the job
The Manager Research team within our division Large Corporates & Financial Institutions is responsible for research and recommendations on external funds within SEB. As a Senior Fund Analyst, you will be responsible for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of external fund managers. You will conduct investment-, operational and ESG due diligence and follow-up to review capabilities. You will be expected to prepare and lead new search cases independently, document the analysis, and execute the research for both SEB and external clients.
Who are you?
You have excellent analytical and communication skills and an in-depth knowledge of the international asset management industry. You can work independently as well as in a team. Excellent presentation skills together with an ability to place recommendations within a portfolio context are very important in this role.
You have a solid and relevant academic background and a proven track record of manager research. You also have a demonstrated ability to add value through manager selection within alternative investments with a special focus on illiquid credit strategies. Experience of operational due diligence is a requirement and knowledge and interest in ESG is an advantage. You will need to travel to meet stakeholders and investment managers globally. You need a high level of proficiency in both Swedish and English.
