About the job
The role, Information Security Officer is new in Risk and Capital Management within SEBs division Large Corporates & Financial Institutions (LC&FI). The team is responsible for monitoring, evaluating and advising the business areas and LC&FI Management on capital, liquidity and risk utilization. Another responsibility in the team is the operational risk management program and to identify, evaluate, protect against and report on operational risk meeting compliance and regulatory requirements and business needs.
The new Information Security Officer will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and overseeing SEB’s information risk management program within the division to ensure information assets owned, controlled or processed by the division are adequately protected. The Information Security Officer will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, protecting against and reporting on information security risks in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements, and aligns with and supports the risk profile of the division. The Information Security Officer will proactively work with business units within LC&FI and advice on information security trends and evolving risk issues and recommend actions, implement practices that meet defined policies and standards for information security. You will be focused on the intersection of technology –based business practices and risk management – and acting as the interface and point of entry for the group functions in matters related to information security.
As Information Security Officer you should embrace SEB’s and LC&FI’s digitization journey and you will draft and propose a divisional-wide information security strategy and action plans based on business strategy, risk assessment and gap analysis. You will collaborate with colleagues across all levels of the organization to ensure information security risks in both ongoing and planned operations are properly considered and that all compliance matters are being adhered to as required.
Who are you?
You have a university degree and with at least 5-10 years of relevant professional experience and a proven track record of competency in the field of information security. You are also highly skilled in information risk assessment methodologies. You need to be multi-faceted, business-focused, and be able to bridge the gap between technical and business functions. An understanding of information risks associated with the increasingly complex business relationships in the supply chain is key as well as being able to develop the division’s response to these risks.
Your have an analytical mindset and can understand potential and emerging information security threats, vulnerabilities, and control techniques and communicate this information across appropriate levels of the organization. Experience from a previous leadership role is meriting but not a requirement. You need to be fluent in written and spoken English.
